It’s not all hard graft and digging – Stephen made a Bakewell Tart for us on Monday and we had a lovely Victoria Sponge from Lesley on Wednesday!

On Tuesday we had a trip to out to see Castleshaw Roman Fort excavations with Norman Redhead of Salford University and the Friends of Castleshaw
We walked up the hill from the Public Car Park to see the fort and Norman showed us the trenches and what they have found so far
